Sally left her small Canadian town at age 17,  headed to New York City to pursue a career in the beauty industry and within two years was working with her idol and world famous makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin. He became her mentor and friend and exposed her to a world of celebrity clientele that quickly taught her the techniques of Hollywood’s most beautiful women.

Sally has become NYC’s premier event makeup artist because she is the rare artist that understands the balance between looking beautiful on camera and flawless in person. She sees sculpture in every woman that sits in her chair and her work focuses on bone structure and luminous skin, not trends or colors. She  has been described as a makeup genius by her clients as well as one of NYC’s top makeup artists by Allure magazine (2004-2013) and New York Magazine (2004-2013).
