I love looking at inspiration photos from my brides – I prefer red carpet as opposed to “bridal” – I certainly don’t define my work as “bridal” in any sense – but having pictures is a nice jumping off point. These photos are one part inspiration (loved Ivanka Trump’s wedding makeup) and one part translation (my bride didn’t want to go quite so dark on the eyes).
All and all it went well. She was thrilled, and I was happy to provide her a look she loved. Especially since she had had a bit of a disaster trial prior to us meeting.
